Unlike most other metallurgical microscopes, this model comes with both reflected and transmitted illumination. It is an ideal instrument for metallurgical and materials analysis. It is also a great microscopy system for viewing transparent materials including those in biological applications. It comes with a 30-degree inclined 360-degree rotatable trinocular head, coarse and fine focusing, mechanical stage, and halogen reflected and transmitted illumination system. Change magnifications quickly using the four-lens turret without significant refocusing thanks to the parfocal design.
