The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification 40x
Magnification 1000x
Magnification 2500x

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Key Features

  • The T570 is designed for biological applications in professional and educational settings.
  • The trinocular head provides a dedicated photo port for mounting a camera.
  • Super-widefield optics provide a larger field-of-view so you can see more specimen at any magnification
  • The infinity-corrected optical system reduces distortion and improves color accuracy.
  • The semi-plan, achromatic objective lenses produce high-contrast images with improved edge-to-edge sharpness.
  • The Koehler illumination system provides centered, evenly-distributed lighting with a field aperture for maximum contrast and definition.

The T570 is designed for biological applications in professional and educational settings. Its infinity-corrected optical system ensures reliable, low-distortion magnification, with semi-plan, achromatic corrections for accurate colors and improved sharpness. The powerful LED illumination system provides bright, evenly-distributed light for maximum contrast and definition. This model is a popular choice for veterinarians and university laboratories.

The trinocular head accommodates viewing through eyepieces and through the top-mounted photo port. Super-widefield optics provide a 30% larger field-of-view compared to 23mm optical systems, letting you see more specimen at any magnification. The binocular viewing tubes use Siedentopf adjustment to easily fit any user. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, the left ocular can be adjusted to fine-tune focus. The head is set to a 30° incline which is ideal for viewing from a standing position, and it can be rotated to view from different positions. The head has a top-mounted, height-adjustable 23mm photo port for mounting optional cameras. C-mount cameras can be paired with various reduction lenses for mounting to the port and optimizing field-of-view.

The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. The turret's reversed orientation provides more working room above the stage. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.

The large 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. A large translation range provides plenty of movement for larger slide-mounted samples. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level.

Built on Koehler illumination principals, the sub-stage lighting provides evenly-distributed light for optimal contrast. The powerful sub-stage LED light-source ensures cool, energy-efficient illumination with low heat for live specimens. The bright light-source is daylight-balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion height adjustment for precision control, and is centerable for proper alignment. The illuminator's field lens provides an iris diaphragm to control light-spread, optimizing contrast and definition in specimen features.
