This is a portable, monocular compound microscope. Along with the LED transmitted lighting, we include a free gooseneck LED lamp which mounts behind the nospiece for reflected lighting. The microscope has five magnification levels (40X, 100X, 250X, 400X & 1000X) when used with both sets of eyepieces. This microscope is suitable for both home use and field use as it can be used with batteries in addition to the AC power.
