The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification 40x
Magnification 1000x
Magnification 2500x

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Key Features

  • 2 levels of stereo magnification from 10X to 30X
  • Designed for jewelers, the microscope includes a darkfield condenser plate and a gem clamp.
  • Top and bottom halogen illumination provide incident or transmitted light for a wide variety of opaque and translucent objects.
  • Just as versatile as larger microscopes, it saves space and money while providing sharp, accurate images.
  • The pillar stand provides more flexibility to position the microscope head, including adjusting the height.

This binocular stereo microscope is designed mainly for jewelers, and comes with a darkfield stage-plate for viewing inclusions, and a gem clamp for holding gems and other objects to be viewed. It also features two pairs of stereo objective lenses mounted in a rotating nosecone, a sturdy all-metal pillar stand, and a versatile illumination system that provides both incident (top) lighting and transmitted (bottom) lighting. You can choose between incident illumination shining down onto the object or transmitted illumination through the frosted stage plate. The first is used for the observation of three-dimensional objects and the second for the observation of slides. This microscope offers high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. It gives sharp clear stereo images. Its 45 degree inclined binocular head ensures an easy observation and rubber eye-guards provide further comfort.

This model has a rear-oriented head which places the observation stage farther away from the user for extra room when using certain tools or props. The ocular tubes can be easily adjusted to properly align with your eyes, and one is equipped with a diopter to compensate for astigmatism.

Two pairs of objective lenses provide 10X and 30X stereo magnification when used with the included 10X eyepieces. This range is intended for common soldering and mechanical repair, and inspecting larger objects. The objective magnification can be changed by simply rotating the nosecone to switch lenses. The viewing head uses 30.5mm ocular tubes to provide an extra-large field-of-view. One ocular tube has an integrated dioptric adjuster for users with astigmatism, or to fine-tune focus when using a camera in place of the eyepiece. The head can be adjusted for any user using rotating binocular adjustment to guarantee proper alignment with the eyes. Various eyepieces are available to expand the magnification range.

This microscope is useful for many applications. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture, biology and is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and stone. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components or virtually any three dimensional objects. This scope is an ideal tool for watchmaker, jeweler, engraver, dies-maker, philatelist, coin collector (not able to view a whole coin), students, and etc. It comes with first-class quality and affordable price.
