This cordless jeweler's microscope features a binocular stereo head with both transmitted and incident LED lighting. It includes two stage plates: a frosted translucent plate for transmitted lighting, and a reversible black/white plate for reflected-lighting applications. It is also equipped with a dark-field condenser and a gem clamp for gemological analysis. The oblique dark-field lighting allows you to easily spot inclusions and other flaws.
This microscope can be powered through an outlet or by batteries, allowing it to be taken out to field sites. This microscope offers sharp clear stereo images, four magnification levels (5X, 10X, 15X, 30X when used with both sets of eyepieces), and provides freedom from cords. It comes with a rechargeable illumination system capable of taking rechargeable AA batteries, and an AC adapter/charger.
