Compound Microscopes/Brightfield

Generally used with compound microscopes, brightfield microscopy is suitable for viewing the natural colors of a specimen or for the observation of stained samples. Using a brightfield microscope, the specimen appears darker on a bright background. Brightfield microscopy can be used in many applications including life sciences, microbiology and with prepared slides.
