Compound Microscopes/Darkfield

Viewed using darkfield microscopy, a specimen will appear brightly lit against a dark background. Darkfield microscopes are ideal for viewing objects that are unstained, transparent and absorb little to no light. These microscopes typically use special condensers that scatter light and cause it to reflect off of a specimen at an angle. Recommended for viewing live samples and unstained specimens.
