Returns Policy

At AmScope, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If your item does not meet your needs, you may return it within 30 days of the date you receive your order, subject to the conditions below.

To initiate a return, please complete our RMA Request Form within the 30-day period. An authorized RMA is required for all returns; items returned without an RMA will be refused and sent back at your expense.

Requesting an RMA within the 30-day window does not extend the return period.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, returned items must:

  • Be in New and Original Condition with no signs of use, wear, or damage.

  • Include all original packaging and all parts, accessories, manuals, and any included materials.

  • Be shipped back using appropriate protective packaging to prevent damage in transit.

RMA Period

Once issued, an RMA is valid for 15 days. Your return must be received at our facility within this timeframe.

Restocking Fees

  • Items missing original packaging or instruction manuals will incur a 20% restocking fee.

  • Bulk returns of 5 or more items may also be subject to a 20% restocking fee, assessed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Products shipped directly from the manufacturer will incur a 20% restocking fee for all returns.

Products Shipped from Manufacturer

  • Must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

  • Must be in new condition, undamaged, and in the original product box with all included accessories.

  • Are subject to inspection by the manufacturer before a refund is approved.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Microscope slides, coverslips, and eye guards.

  • Items marked Final Sale.

Missing or Incorrect Items

If an item is missing or your order is incorrect, you must contact our support team within 7 days of delivery. Before reporting a missing item, please check all packaging carefully, as smaller components may be packed separately. Once verified, we will promptly arrange to send any missing items or correct your order as needed.

Defective Items

If you receive a defective or damaged product, you must contact our support team within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return. In some cases, we may request photos to confirm the defect. We will provide return or replacement instructions after review.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a customer refuses delivery or the shipment is returned to our warehouse due to a failed delivery attempt:

• The order will be treated as a standard return once received back.

• The return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

We recommend contacting us before refusal so our team can assist with the most efficient resolution.

Return Shipping

Unless the product is defective, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using insured ground service with a tracking number.

Refund Processing

Once we receive your return, please allow 5–7 business days for processing. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Credits typically appear on your account within 48 hours after processing.
