The EDU2L series of stereo microscopes offers a compact, turnkey solution for classrooms. The microscope is equipped with both reflected and transmitted illumination for viewing opaque and translucent specimens alike. The rigid rack-and-pinion focusing track prevents errant rotation, and is more secure than models which use sliding height adjustment. Two pairs of objective lenses offer dual magnifications which can be easily alternated with a simple twist of the lens turret.

The microscope is equipped with 1X and 3X objective lenses which combine with the eyepiece magnification to provide 10X and 30X magnification respectively. Simply rotate the lens turret to switch magnifications.
Dual Illumination
With both reflected and transmitted illumination, EDU2L series microscopes can be used to view opaque and translucent subjects. Each light source is independently controlled so the appropriate balance of light can be achieved. The microscope can be used with an AC outlet or AA batteries.
The Stage
The microscope’s stage has a raised 95mm platform which can be used with the included glass plate for transmitted illumination, or the two-sided opaque plate for reflected illumination. The raised platform has a unique design which allows it to be slid along the X and Y axes for minor adjustments to the specimen position. Additionally, it can hold a culturing dish for liquids or otherwise messy subjects.

• One Year Warranty for Telescopes: All our telescopes come with a one (1) year warranty, except when specified in the description.
• One Year Warranty for Accessories: All our microscope accessories (USB cameras, illuminators, illumination, dust covers, and etc.) come with a one (1) year warranty, except when specified in the description.
• One Year Warranty for Items labeled as “Product Ships From Manufacturer”: All products that are shipped directly from the manufacturer come with a one (1) year warranty, except when specified in the description.
Warranty does not apply for consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs, batteries, fuses, cords, optical components or any add-on accessories such as mechanical specimen holders that are not built into the microscope stage as an integral part of the original manufacture, etc. Warranty does not cover microscopes, lenses cameras or other accessories that have become inoperable due to dirt or damage due to misuse or lack of maintenance.
