The M200-LED is a fully-functional entry-level microscope for classrooms and clinics. Unlike many microscopes in its class, it uses DIN industry-standard optics, making it compatible with a large selection of objective lenses and eyepieces. All of the necessary functionality is present in an intuitive form factor which is ideally suited for classroom use. The microscope uses a traditional layout which is beneficial for students and other first-time users.

The monocular head keeps things simple. The use of a single eyepiece means that no adjustments are necessary for eye alignment or symmetrical focus. The head can rotate 360° for viewing from different positions. Interchangeable eyepieces allow you to change the overall magnification with optional lenses, or use a camera in place of the eyepiece to view microscopic images on a computer monitor or other display.

The objective turret provides instant access to 3 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 400X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.

The stage is equipped with two clips for holding slides and other specimens in place. The microscope uses independent focus knobs to control coarse and fine adjustments. An adjustable limit-stop mechanism can be used to prevent the lenses from making contact with specimens, preventing damage to the lenses and glass slides.

The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. The height-adjustable light-condenser precisely focuses light onto the specimen, with an iris-diaphragm to control contrast and focus depth.

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 1MP digital eyepiece camera. The compact, lightweight camera can be used in place of an eyepiece to watch live images, and to record photos or videos on your computer. This ability to view microscopic images on your computer reduces eye-strain, and allows groups of people to view images at the same time. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.

  • One digital eyepiece camera
  • Two sizing adapters
  • One mini USB to USB type A cable
  • One software CD
  • The M200-LED is a fully-functional entry-level microscope for classrooms and clinics.

An additional 16X eyepiece expands the maximum magnification to 640X with 6 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and some bacteria.

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 2MP digital eyepiece camera.

  • The M200-LED is a fully-functional entry-level microscope for classrooms and clinics.

An additional 20X eyepiece expands the maximum magnification to 800X with 6 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and some bacteria.

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 2MP digital eyepiece camera.

  • The M200-LED is a fully-functional entry-level microscope for classrooms and clinics.

An additional 25X eyepiece expands the maximum magnification to 1000X with 5 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and some bacteria.

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 2MP digital eyepiece camera.
