The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification 40x
Magnification 1000x
Magnification 2500x

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Key Features

  • Quick-Read precision grid urinalysis slide
  • Quick-Read precision slide

The Quick-Read™ Precision Cell microscope slide is designed to provide accuracy, uniformity and safety in the microscopic examination of urinary sediment.  Made from optically clear acrylic, the slide features 10 chambers with integrated coverslips. Within each chamber there are 18 circles that are all together visible at 100x magnification. These premeasured circles contain specific volumes of urinary sediment within its circumference that allows for the easy calculation of cellular elements present in 1mL of urine.

The Quick-Read™ Precision Grid microscope slide is designed to provide accuracy, uniformity and safety in the microscopic examination of urinary sediment. Made from optically clear acrylic for optimal viewing, the slide consists of ten chambers. Each chamber has a grid with 81 well defined, pre-measured squares. Each pre-measured square holds a specific volume of urinary sediment which facilitates the convenient and rapid microscopic examination of the cellular elements in each specimen.

The system is a combination slide and coverslip of optically clear acrylic with ten separate chambers, each holding a standard volume of 6.3uL. Ten processed and stained specimens can be read at a time. Each chamber contains 18 premeasured circles that contain specific volumes of urinary sediment within its circumference. This facilitates a convenient and rapid microscopic examination of the cellular elements in each specimen.

To apply the sample to the chamber, place a drop of well-mixed sediment (using Quick-Prep™, a tube and pipette system that isolates 1mL of urine sediment for microscopic examination) into the scalloped area of a numbered chamber on the slide. Capillary action provides uniform distribution of sediment into the viewing chamber. Each chamber has overflow wells for excess urine to prevent cross contamination. Individual slides and specimens can be identified by marking the appropriate numbers on the extreme left and right side of the unit with your own identifying code using a pencil or other marking device. The use of Quick-Read™ provides accuracy, uniformity and safety in the microscopic examination of urinary sediment.
