The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification 40x
Magnification 1000x
Magnification 2500x

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Key Features

  • This 100X phase-contrast objective lens can be used to enhance contrast invisible to the eye when used with an appropriate condenser and phase ring.
  • This lens must be used with immersion oil to achieve proper clarity.
  • Intended for biological applications, the lens is corrected for 0.17mm cover-slips.
  • The spring-loaded nosecone helps to prevent impact damage to slides and the lens.
  • Designed for compound microscopes which use DIN standard lenses with RMS thread and 45mm parfocal distance
  • Achromatic corrections provide better color accuracy and resolution.

This is a 100X achromatic phase-contrast objective lens for DIN-standard microscopes. An integrated phase-ring enhances contrast of invisible details when used with a compatible condenser and phase annulus. As light passes through a specimen with varying refractive indicies, otherwise invisible details can be imaged by manipulating the phase of light. Intended primarily for biological applications, this lens is designed to work with microscopes using 160mm tube-length and 45mm parfocal distance. The lens has a large numerical aperture for high-resolution images, and must be used with immersion oil to function correctly. Achromatic correction provides improved color accuracy and resolution. The sealed, spring-loaded nosecone helps to prevent impact damage to slides and the lens.
