Using a two-layer design and a sliding caliper, specimen slides can be precisely moved along the X and Y axes to efficiently look for regions of interest. The coarse and fine focus knobs have been combined in a coaxial format so both adjustments are right at your fingertips. An adjustable height-limit mechanism for the stage can be used to prevent the stage from being raised too high. This prevents the lenses from making contact with specimens and potentially causing damage to the lenses and glass slides.

    The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. The light-source is daylight balanced to produce natural colors for imaging.
