  • High-resolution ZM series optics provide improved sharpness with lower distortion
  • The pillar-style stand provides fundamental support and functionality with a large base for stability and an ample working surface
  • Dual diopters can be adjusted to maintain consistent focus throughout the magnification range, greatly improving productivity.
  • The stereo optics provide upright images with clear depth-of-field and a wide view for hands-on applications.
  • A trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated mount for adding a camera.
  • This microscope is ideal for laboratories, repair shops, and engravers.
  • Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 1.3MP USB 2.0 camera. Professional microscopy software for Windows, Mac, and Linux provide tools for image processing, measuring, and more.
  • Includes a mechanical gliding stage which allows you to precisely position subjects. The glass top helps avoid static discharge when working with electronics
  • A 150W halogen illuminator with 35" heavy-duty fiber-optic ring-light provides the smoothest overhead lighting possible. Active cooling and auto-shutoff avoids overheating in strenuous environments.

The ZM-1T brings together high-resolution stereo optics and a modern design. The ZM series shows improvements in resolution, contrast, and distortion compared to our staple SM series. This trinocular model has an additional port for mounting a camera, so you can record video or photos without replacing an eyepiece. The table-stand provides a solid and fundamental support system that won't take up a lot of space. This model is especially popular in laboratories and workshops due to it ease-of-use and reliability.

Optics

The advanced optical system in the ZM series microscope produces higher resolutions throughout its zoom range, with stunning contrast and color accuracy. The 0.67X-4.5X objective lenses offer excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance, with symmetrical zoom knobs to easily move through magnifications. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 6.7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles. 0.5X and 2X Barlow lenses are included, which can be alternated to either halve or double the magnification range, expanding the possible magnifications to 3.35X-90X.

Ocular Adjustment

Dual ocular diopters can be adjusted to maintain consistent focus, greatly improving productivity. Sliding interpupillary adjusters ensure that each user can properly align the eyepieces for comfortable viewing.

Trinocular Port

The switched trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated mount for a camera. When the photo-port is switched open, all light from the left objective is diverted to the port to provide maximum brightness for the camera to guarantee the best quality images.

Pillar Stand with Large Base

The pillar-style stand provides fundamental support and functionality for use with this stereo microscope. The large base creates a stable foundation and work surface, with a reversible black/white centered plate which can offer contrast to light or dark specimens. The focusing block is mounted to a column, allowing the block to rotate and slide for flexible positioning. The block’s large focusing knobs provide excellent grip for easy control, and are tension-adjustable.

Digital Imaging

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 1.3MP USB2.0 camera. The C-mount camera is specially designed for use with microscopes, allowing you to watch live images, and to record photos or videos on your computer. This ability to view microscopic images on your computer reduces eye-strain, and allows groups of people to view images at the same time. A 0.37X reduction lens is included to capture more of the microscope's field-of-view. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.

Additional Items

This package includes a powerful 150W illuminator with a fiber-optic ring-light. The incandescent light-source projects ultra-bright, full-spectrum light which is channeled through the 35” fiber-optic light-guide which provides the smoothest ring of encompassing illumination. The flexible, heavy-duty metal-sheathed guide will hold up to heavy use in your workshop, factory, or lab without worry of crimping or breaking. The light-source is equipped with an active cooling system and an auto-shutoff circuit to avoid overheating in strenuous environments.

This package includes a mechanical gliding stage which provides precision control over movement on the X and Y axes. The glass surface is useful for sensitive electronic components, and two clips are attached to secure specimens.
